VHS Party is a monthly obscure/cult/b-movie film club based in Atlanta, GA where every film we screen is on glorious VHS.

When I started VHS Party in 2015 it was little more than an excuse to invite a few friends over so that we could all crowd around a VCR and laugh together. Years later we're still doing the exact same thing, but our membership has grown and we've acquired better equipment.

The core mission for VHS Party has always been...

Host a party where you force your friends to sit down and watch weird movies on VHS that they could have easily gone their entire lives without seeing...let alone know that these films even existed in the first place. VHS Party is a celebration of the obscure and forgotten films on a decaying long-dead media format.

My hope for this site is to chronicle our journey through the many wild films that we watch together, and hopefully give you ideas and motivation to start a VHS Party Club of your own!
